Cedar Waxwing

The first photo of 5 Cedar Waxwings I took in Cullowhee NC on the Campus of Western Carolina University, back when I was in college there.  The next two photos I took near Fuquay Varina NC. Cedar Waxwings are not native to North Carolina, these birds are just passers through, these birds are migratory birds. I have rarely seen these birds in North Carolina.Cedar Wax Wings migrate to the South Eastern United States for the winter .These birds migrate south from Southern Canada and the Northern United States to the Southeastern United States. The Cedar Waxwing is a medium size Passerine (Perching bird) that grows between 7 and 8 inches long.
